green tomato BLT

I went to Skillet the other night to catch up with some friends. Great menu..changes pretty frequently depending on whatever they get in! It took me forever to decide what I wanted!! I think the next time I may have to try their mac and cheese with pulled pork. I ended up getting the green tomato BLT...so delicious!! The green tomato was lightly fried, on top of smoky bacon, and topped with an egg over hard and mixed greens, and sandwiched between fried Texas toast.

oh my goodness, little piece of heaven. Suggestion from my friend though: don't go on weekends, the line gets out the door. We went on a Thursday evening and it wasn't crowded which was good because there isn't a whole lot of seating. Support your local restaurants! :)
