glitter!!

Okay, so I love all things glittery and sparkly. I read about ombre nails so I decided to try it this week. For the base, I used Urban Outfitters Ashtray, a nice pearly black. It's got a little bit of sparkle in the sun, but not too blingtastic inside. It's a good neutral and I imagine it will probably be a good go-to for fall. I layered China Glaze Skyscraper on top with the ombre technique, painting the tips to start, then slowly painting another layer going back towards the base. It turned out okay for my first time, and I'm liking the color combo...kinda like a starry night!

Excuse my cuticles and short nails...still trying to grow them out to a healthy length! :)
